Serti (@serti_fd) ignites this edition of DRAADLOOS with a broad sonic experience.
His work fuses modern synthesisers with analogue outboard gear to create experimental sets that balance heavy hitters with unexpected turns. Serti’s sets invite listeners to drift beyond reality, through spiritual, exceptional and peculiar sound designs.
T.NO (@t.no) throws extra fuel onto the fire, while drawing from styles such as Gqom, Grime, Kawina, Bubbling, Kuduro, and Funk Carioca. As an Amsterdam-based DJ and producer, T.NO blends his Surinamese roots with global club influences, crafting a distinctive sound driven by rhythm and energy.
Dey.Rey (@dey.rey) lets the heat of the night reach its peak. Dey.Rey is a dynamic and fearless DJ from Rotterdam, always ready to unleash a wave of sexy energy and irresistible rhythm that commands the dancefloor. With a sound deeply rooted in genres like Ghetto House, Trance, Dance/Electro, Techno, Baile Funk, Bubbling, and beyond.
Right before you step through the venue doors, you might catch a flare of the Fire Fairy’s (@vagabond.em) light performance. This duo will welcome you outdoors with a mystical display of movement and momentum throughout a wide variety of flow props, their pure focus translating into a courageous performance of motion.
Lina and Guusje, aka LG8 (@guusjekummer, @du5anur), found each other through their raw, playful connection on the dancefloor. Being present and aware of their surroundings keeps inspiring them to translate it into their flow of movement, bounded with their blaze through hip-hop and performed in spontaneous, supporting additions to the music.
Pocahontas (@poledancepocahontas) uses the pole to turn movement into a dialogue between body and energy, making you reconsider stereotypes while leaving a lasting impression. She performs twice during the event, her first appearance leaning heavily on experimental movement alongside the live synthesizer set, while her closing performance turns up the heat with something spicier…
Noah Kasanardjo (@noahkasanardjo) combines sound, imagery, light, and new media within spatial contexts. His spatial interventions for this edition consist of the light design, the motorised DRAADLOOS logo he built, and the interactive shadow installation.
Noah teams up with vlbdv as scenographers, shaping the event’s visual identity, the space, and the overall experience.
Veronica Lebedev (@vlbdv) questions the traditional black-box setting of nightlife. Her work is driven by the belief that eccentric environments do not need excessive budgets. vlbdv’s cardboard-and-tape installation is part of an ongoing exploration of how simple materials can become the basis for something more ambitious.
Lea Sophie von Törne (@leavontorne) and Amour de Boer (@amourdenboerr) are social designers whose work focuses on connection and the space between people. Together they create a physical meeting point where visitors can leave traces of their presence or discover something left behind by someone they crossed paths with during the night.
In her painting practices, Sofia Mols (@sofia_mols) explores the boundary between reality and simulation. She takes images that are endlessly consumed on screens and brings them back into the physical world through the slow and attentive process of painting.
During this edition of DRAADLOOS, Sofia will paint live throughout the night. Hours of smouldering focus will turn into a single work as the night unfolds around her.
